Salary:

$25.92-$33.25/hour, part-time (12hrs/wk), no benefits

Description:

Under general supervision, the individual will inspect, operate and maintain the water treatment system and related amenities to supply, treat, store, and distribute water for potable water distribution system; ensure safe and efficient delivery of clean water to customers; conduct regular testing of treated water using necessary equipment; and maintain a variety of records and logs in accordance with state requirements. There is one Extra-Help position (12 hours per week) available in the Public Works Department. Main worksite location is Stonyford, CA.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or an equivalent certificate or diploma recognized by State of California.
-Two years experience in operation, monitoring, testing, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater treatment facilities and systems.
-Possession of a T3 Water Treatment Plant Operator Certificate issued by the California State Department of Public Health (CDPH). Must maintain valid certification as a condition of employment.
-D2 distribution license preferred; required within the first year of service.
-A valid State of California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
