County Marijuana Policies Survey Results
Last year, the Governor signed into law the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act (MMRSA), which establishes a framework to regulate the cultivation, sale, testing, manufacturing, and transportation of medical cannabis in California.
Since its enactment, CSAC has received several inquiries from counties asking for information about what other counties across the state are doing regarding local regulation of medical marijuana.
The CSAC Medical Marijuana Survey included questions on several of the key medical marijuana issues currently facing many of California’s counties. This document is a compilation of the responses received from 46 of the 58 counties. We plan to periodically check-in with counties to obtain any updates on the information provided. We also encourage counties to send us any needed corrections or updates.
