CSAC Leadership Opposes SB1 Repeal
Executive Committee and Board Vote to Oppose Repeal
CSAC’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors today took action to oppose the effort to repeal SB 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. CSAC was one of the founding members of the Fix Our Roads coalition that formed over two years ago to pass a transportation funding deal. SB 1, which passed last year, will provide more than $5 billion a year in additional revenue to repair California’s aging state and local transportation infrastructure. The vote today reaffirms CSAC’s commitment to improving the state’s transportation infrastructure for the benefit of all Californians, and promoting job creation and a thriving economy in the Golden State.
