Nearly 3,000 county supervisors, commissioners, and executives from across the country are converging on Los Angeles County this week for the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference. The Long Beach Convention Center will be busy for several days with workshops, policy discussions and speakers offering insight and expertise on a variety of critical issues. “There are a lot of good reasons to visit Los Angeles County no
matter what season it is,” said Los Angeles County Supervisor Don
Knabe. “But for people in county government, this is a great time
to be here. The NACo conference presents the opportunity to have
real impact on some of the most important issues facing our
constituents today.”
