Registration Now Open for CSAC Annual Meeting
Dynamite Lineup Planned -- Dec. 1-4 in Monterey County
Registration is now open for CSAC’s 121st Annual Meeting, scheduled for Dec. 1-4 in Monterey County. This year’s theme plays off on the ever-popular social media use of the hashtag: #CountiesLead. CSAC staff has been busy planning a valuable lineup of workshops, meetings, speakers and special events. And once again, CSAC is offering discount rates for attendees who register early.
Workshop topics this year include human trafficking, transportation funding, criminal offenders who are incompetent to stand trial, medical marijuana issues and expanding broadband – just to name a few. Every County Supervisor has a seat at the table at those all-important policy discussions.
The Conference opens the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 1, with our ever-popular Innovation Summit. This year the agenda will focus on “From Tech to Grey: Innovations in Social Media and Retirement.”
A number of pre-conference events are also planned on Monday, including a CSAC Institute course on long-term impacts of the drought, and a series of activities planned by the Women’s Leadership Forum. Please develop your travel plans to take these Monday events into account.
