Upcoming NACo Stepping Up Webinar and Network Call

The Stepping Up partners will host a webinar on Thursday, November 9 to discuss evidence-based strategies for addressing housing needs for people with mental illnesses who have had contact with the justice system. Stepping Up counties may be running into a common issue: the prevalence of homelessness among people with mental illnesses in jails and a lack of housing options for this vulnerable population in their communities.

This webinar will feature CSH’s FUSE model, which is a data-driven approach to creating and implementing supportive housing for high utilizers/frequent users of jails, shelters and other crisis services. County officials will share their processes and progress with implementing this model. The webinar will be followed up by the Stepping Up Network Call for a deeper dive on the same topic on Thursday, November 16. To register for the webinar and network call, please visit this link.
