Meets November 8
The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) Board will
meet on Thursday, November 8th at 10:00 am at the BSCC
headquarters located in Sacramento. Highlights of the agenda
include discussion items such as Byrne Jag RFPs and funding
awards, Proposition 47 RFPs, Riverside County SB 81 scope change
approval and a closed session on State of California v. Sessions,

Upcoming NACo Stepping Up Four Key Measures
Webinar
The National Association of Counties (NACo) is hosting their
fourth webinar in the Four Measures Stepping Up webinar series.
The webinar, Reducing
Recidivism for People with Mental Illnesses in Jails, will be
hosted on Wednesday, December 12th from 11:00 am –
12:15 pm. The webinar will provide strategies for reducing
recidivism for people with mental illnesses involved in the
justice system and describe key data points to collect and
analyze to track this measure of success. Previous webinars in
