2017 Trial Court Revenue Distribution Training
Advance Notice
The Judicial Council and State Controller’s Office have set the
dates for the 2017 in-person statewide Trial Court Revenue
Distribution Trainings in San Diego and Sacramento. This training
was established by the Judicial Council’s Court-Ordered Debt Task
Force in 2013 for court, county, city, and parking entities that
perform revenue collection and distribution activities.
The dates, times and locations of the trainings are below:
Monday, June 5— San Diego from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Monday, June 12—Sacramento from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tuesday, June 13—Sacramento from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
All three training sessions will contain the same information.
Participation by phone will not be available. In an effort to
tailor the training to meet your needs, if there are any topics
or specific questions you would like covered during the training,
please submit your questions and/or suggestions to revenuedistribution@jud.ca.gov.

The Words To Deeds X Conference Report Has Been Posted!
Words to Deeds recently released their 2016
Conference Overview Report. The report highlights numerous
elements from the last November’s event, including tips on data
collection, clarification on HIPAA regulations, points of
success, challenges and strategies, and expertise from state
agency leaders.
Words to Deeds provides a unique forum that creates best
practices in the paradigm shift between criminal justice and
mental health. These best practices are attained by fostering
successful and ongoing collaboration among courts, criminal
justice agencies, mental health professionals, and governmental
and nongovernmental organizations.
Additionally, Words to Deeds will be featured as a meeting track
at the Forensic Mental Health Association of California (FMHAC)
Conference in Monterey from March 22 – 24. This meeting track is
an update to the November Words to Deeds event and is open to
everyone. The track also offers continuing education units for
