The California Department of Aging (CDA) is moving forward with
gathering feedback for the new initiative focusing on the local
leadership structure for aging services. As outlined in a recent
bulletin post, the Hubs & Spokes Network for Aging &
Disability aims to strengthen and modernize California’s aging
services and is part of an ongoing dialogue that CDA is having
with CSAC and other partner organizations. To provide further
opportunity for feedback from all interested stakeholders
throughout the state, CDA will be hosting four regional Townhall
Meetings in the coming weeks. These townhalls are another
good opportunity for counties to engage and provide input on this
important issue.
