Governor Jerry Brown recently announced the appointments of five
individuals to various leadership positions within the California
Department of Corrections (CDCR). These individuals are Ralph M.
Diaz, who has been appointed Undersecretary for Operations;
Kathleen Allison, who has been appointed Director of the Division
of Adult Institutions; Jeffrey Macomber, who has been appointed
Deputy Director of Facility Support, Division of Adult
Institutions; Guillermo Viera Rosa, who has been appointed
Director of the Division of Adult Parole Operations; and Connie
Gipson, who has been appointed Deputy Director of Facility
Operations, Division of Adult Institutions. Additional

Board of State and Community Corrections April
14th Meeting
The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) is holding
their next Board Meeting on April 14th in Sacramento.
The meeting is expected to cover the establishment of the
Proposition 47 Executive Steering Committee and updates to the SB
863 jail funding. The Meeting will be held at 10 am at 2590
