The Board of State and Community Corrections
(BSCC) is holding its next Proposition 47 Executive Steering
Committee (ESC) Meeting on Monday, October 17 from 9:30 am – 5:00
pm. The meeting will be held at the Los Angeles Marriot Burbank
Airport Hotel in Burbank. During the meeting the ESC will review
the September 7th ESC meeting and begin developing a framework
for Proposition 47 Request for Proposals. For additional

In addition, the BSCC will hold its Senate Bill 844 Adult Local
Criminal Justice Facilities Construction Executive Steering
Committee (ESC) Meeting on Thursday, October 20 at 9:00 am.
The meeting will be held at the BSCC headquarters in
Sacramento. Topics of the meeting include: an overview of the
BSCC and the ESC process, an overview of California’s Open
Meeting laws and a discussion about the requirements for the SB
