The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) Regulations
Revision Executive Steering Committee (ESC) began meeting in 2015
to identify issues, provide direction to workgroups, and
recommend revisions to Title 15 and Title 24 regulations. The
proposed revisions were approved by the BSCC Board in June of
2016 and adopted April 1, 2017. A full text of the new

Title 24: The California Building Standards Commission
(CBSC) adopts Title 24 regulations on behalf of the BSCC. The
proposed regulations will be adopted as part of the 2016
Intervening Code Adoption Cycle. A 45-day public comment period
has been scheduled for April 7, 2017 through May 22, 2017, notice
of which will be posted on or before April 7th on the BSCC’s Public
