The Butte County Fire Safe Council has released a report with
information about what types of wildfire mitigation projects have
been planned and funded in Butte County and reasons for delays in
implementation. The report also breaks down grant funding that
the county has received, discusses the future of funding for
wildfire mitigation, and issues with CEQA. In addition, the
report proposes several ideas for improvements that could help
expedite wildfire mitigation projects.
