Cal OES Offers Grants for Human Trafficking Program

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Victim Services & Public Safety Branch, Human Trafficking Unit is announcing the release of the Human Trafficking Advocacy (HA) Program Request for Application for the 2017-18 fiscal year. The HA Program provides funding for Victim/Witness Assistance Centers that have a demonstrated partnership, collaboration, and/or coordination of services with an Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force within the county and/or service area(s) – to provide comprehensive services to victims of human trafficking. T

he HA Program is supported with Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funds. A total of $983,856 is available for 2017-18, with a grant performance period beginning October 1, 2017, and ending September 30, 2018.
