CAL OES Seeking Victim Advocacy Provider

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Victim Services and Public Safety Branch recently released the Victim Advocacy in Detention Facilities (KA) Program Request for Proposal (RFP). The purpose of the KA Program is to increase access to appropriate services for sexual assault victims in detention facilities. There is approximately $8.6 million available for the KA Program for 2017-2018. Applicants may request up to $345,000 for a 2-year sub-award that commences October 1, 2017 and ends September 30, 2019. Proposals are due August 15, 2017. Additionally, the Victim Services and Public Safety Branch released the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Specialized Emergency Housing (KE) Program. The purpose of the KE Program is to expand emergency shelter and emergency housing assistance resources in California and provide specialized services for crime victims. There is approximately $4.6 million available for the KE Program for 2017-18. Applicants may request up to $575,000 for a 24-month sub-award performance period that commences October 1, 2017, and ends September 30, 2019. Proposals are due Monday, August 14, 2017.
