Caltrans recently released its Draft Vehicle Miles Traveled
(VMT)-Focused Transportation Impact Study Guide (Draft TISG). It
is guidance to Caltrans Districts, lead agencies, developers, and
consultants regarding Caltrans review of a land use project or
plan’s transportation analysis using a VMT metric.
The Draft TISG is posted
online for informal review.
Caltrans will be holding a webinar on the Draft TISG on
Tuesday, March 24 from 3:30 – 4:30pm. To
