On June 5, the California Public Utilities Commission issued
its Final
Decision Adopting Phase 2 Updates and Additional
Guidelines for De-Energization of Electric Facilities to Mitigate
Wildfire Risk. CSAC has been actively engaged in this process and
recently submitted comments to the CPUC on the Phase II
Rulemaking regarding de-energization.
Moving forward, CSAC is likely to provide further comments on a
CPUC Safety and Enforcement Division public report which examined
the 2019 PSPS events. If you have any questions about these PSPS
