Living and Leading in Chaotic Times
July 23, 2020 • 3:00 PM

This session shows participants how to process their emotions, experiences and reactions generated by this global pandemonium. Participants explore the tools and best practices to increase calm and centeredness in the face of chaos and frenzy. The session includes experiential processes that quickly connect to our current mental and emotional experiences. The key practices focus on how to interact effectively with those you work with, especially in times of chaos and isolation.

Beyond Survival and Being Human
July 30, 2020 • 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Instructors: Dr. Laree Kiely and Dr. Rich Callahan

The significant uncertainty in counties calls for a combination of what Laurence Gonzeles describes as deep survival skills coupled with connecting to deeply human values. We are, at the very least, human beings being human. That isn’t as simple as it sounds.  This session will suggest best practices for “Deep Survival”, moving to the concept of being “Antifragile” while staying authentic to our personal values and unique selves.  As humans, we can build more self-trust and genuine personal strength.  As managers, we can help others show up strong. As leaders, we can connect with others on core values.  We will share current and relevant knowledge and tools for going beyond merely surviving to thriving even in the middle of global pandemics, civil protest and pervasive uncertainty.
