Dates and Information for SB 1383 Workshops

April 19, 2018

CalRecycle is hosting a final round of informal stakeholder workshops to review draft regulatory language and discuss the implementation process for SB 1383 regulations. The bill, signed in 2016, establishes methane emissions reduction targets in a statewide effort to reduce short-lived climate pollutants in various sectors of California’s economy. The final formal rulemaking is likely to take place in late summer this year.

The workshops will include time to collect stakeholder feedback on the draft regulatory language. The workshops will be broadcast, recorded and posted on the SB 1383 CalRECYCLE website. Topics will include an overview of the second draft of the rulemaking text and newly proposed procurement regulations.
