Grants Available to Help Human Trafficking Victims

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) has $4 million available in grants to help victims of human trafficking. The Victim Service & Public Safety Branch is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Victim Legal Assistance (KL) Program for the fiscal year 2017-18.

The KL Program is designed to increase the availability of no cost civil and criminal legal assistance aid to adult and youth crime victims who are seeking legal relief in matters relating to that crime. To receive funding through the KL Program, the application package must be received or postmarked by August 7, 2017.
