The U.S. Economic Development Administration and the U.S.
Development of Agriculture released a
joint resource guide this week to help communities access
federal resources to plan for and boost economic development in
rural areas. The guide is separated into four investment focus
areas: planning and technical assistance, infrastructure and
broadband expansion, entrepreneurship and business assistance,
and workforce development and livability. Each focus area
includes a comprehensive list of grants and other types of
federal assistance, designed to encourage community collaboration
and maximize funding opportunities.
