Juvenile Justice Committee Seeks Public Input

If you have some ideas about how to help at-risk youth succeed, the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (SACJJDP) Committee wants to hear from you. The Committee is holding two listening sessions to hear directly from the public about its current planning work. This plan is a roadmap for policies that will direct spending under the Title II federal grant program. The committee is interested in understanding what communities across California believe are the most important and effective interventions to help at-risk youth succeed.

The first listening session will be held June 21st from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the BSCC headquarters in Sacramento immediately following the SACJJDP meeting scheduled from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on the same day. The second listening session will be held: September 20th from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in Los Angeles location TBD.
