Juvenile Justice Committee Wants to Hear From You!

August 24, 2017

The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) State Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (SACJJDP) will be hosting a Listening Session to hear directly from the public, including youth, about its current juvenile delinquency prevention and juvenile justice improvement work. The information discussed will be used to inform the State’s Three Year Plan update, which is a requirement for receiving federal Title II monies for juvenile justice and delinquency prevention.

This is our second session, and it will be on September 20, 2017 in Los Angeles. Please see the attached flyer (also posted on the BSCC website) for details. The next SACJJDP meeting is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. The Listening Session will follow immediately after and will be livestreamed. Anticipated to run from 4-6 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Kimberly Bushard with the BSCC at kimberly.bushard@bscc.ca.gov or 916-324-0999.
