The Board of Forestry and Fire Protection (BOF) has noticed a
special hearing to discuss the proposed Fire Safe Regulations on
Monday, March 22, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. CSAC, along
with its partner agencies have been regularly commenting on the
rules as they have progressed. The March 22nd meeting agenda is
available on the
Board’s website, and the regulations have been posted here

We strongly recommend your county representative attend
this meeting to provide input into the rulemaking.

CSAC will continue to advocate that the BOF slow the rulemaking
process, meet directly with stakeholders to get interactive
input, and work through scenarios to fully understand the
implications of the proposed rules. Our coalition submitted
comments (RCRC,
CSAC, UCC Letter to BOF Feb 17) that were included in the
discussion in the February 24 workshop. A synopsis of the
February 24 workshop was provided in the CSAC bulletin.
