The Governor’s Task Force on Business and Jobs Recovery has
announced a new website and campaign, Calling All
Californians: #ShopSafeShopLocal, which provides
resources to small business on how to make modifications to
protect against the spread of COVID-19. The website also
encourages Californians to support small businesses in their
communities.
The website includes technical assistance in 31 different
languages, resources, discounts and offers from state partners, a
free customizable digital toolkit, and the latest state industry
guidance and county variances. It also provides a link to help
small businesses find the state’s extraordinary network of Small
Business Support Centers, which provide free one-on-one
consulting and no-cost or low-cost trainings to help businesses
build resiliency, strengthen operations, or get started, as well
as connecting them with nonprofit lenders to help access state
loan programs. The campaign also includes a new website,SafelyMakingCA.org,
which is a marketplace for Californians to obtain personal
protective equipment.
