This week, the California State Library announced the launch of
the California Grants
Portal. The Portal allows users to browse nearly all grants
and loans hosted by state agencies and departments, as well as to
subscribe to email updates for new opportunities. The new Portal
can be found at grants.ca.gov.
Counties can use the portal to search for grants specific to
public agencies from state agencies as diverse as the Board of
State and Community Corrections to the Natural Resources Agency.
This should make it much easier for counties to find grants
relevant to them and their communities’ needs.
