State Analysis of Now-Dead Graham-Cassidy

September 28, 2017

While the Graham-Cassidy bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act failed earlier this week, the state Department of Health Care Services analyzed it last week and found it to be even worse than the previous two proposals. The analysis found that Graham-Cassidy proposal would have cost California nearly $139 billion in federal funding by 2027. More details are available in the DHCS’s statement on the analysis.
