State Controller’s Financial Reporting Advisory Committee Seeks County Official
County officials, including but not limited to auditor controllers and directors of finance, have an opportunity to serve on a seven-member committee established under the State Controller’s Office (SCO) to help improve local government financial transactions reports.
The Local Government Advisory Committee on Financial Reporting is specifically responsible for assisting the Controller in developing complete and accurate records as they pertain to local government financial transactions reports. The Committee meets in person or by teleconference once or twice a year and is comprised of representatives from cities, counties, and special districts. Representatives have traditionally included auditor-controllers, directors of finance and similar type positions.
