Upcoming Cannabis Advisory Committee Meetings

May 20, 2021

The Bureau of Cannabis Control’s Cannabis Advisory Committee is hosting three virtual meetings in May. The committee advises the BCC and the other licensing authorities – the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the California Department of Public Health – on the development of regulations that help protect public health and safety and reduce the illegal market for cannabis.

The Committee’s first two meetings, which took place this week, were of the Subcommittee on License Types and the Subcommittee on Enforcement. On May 25 at 10 a.m., the full Committee will be meeting, with time set aside for public comment. See the full agenda here. The Bureau posts webcasts of meetings on their website.
