The National Association of Counties (NACo) and The Pew Charitable Trusts are hosting the Evidence-Based Policymaking: Delivering Effective Programs & Monitoring Outcomes webinar on February 7 from 12 – 1:15 p.m. This webinar will highlight strategies on how county officials can enact program implementation oversight, monitor and support service providers and measure program outcomes effectively. Additionally, NACo is hosting the webinar, “Stepping Up” Your Efforts to Reduce Mental Illness in Jails, on February 14  from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Participants will hear from the national Stepping Up partners and peers about how to best leverage the resources available through the initiative to help counties meet their goals. Featured speakers are Jamie Clayton, Corrections Chief Deputy, Imperial County Sheriff’s Office in California and Kathryn Crouthers, LICSW, Clinical Director, Chilton Shelby Mental Health Center in Shelby County, Alabama.
