Webinar: Achieving Positive Outcomes for Safety and Violence Prevention Through Collaboration
Keeping our communities safe is a responsibility shared by community members at all levels and sectors. Collaboration among local officials, staff, community groups and constituents plays a vital role in the safety and welfare of our communities.
Join the Institute for Local Government for a webinar on Wednesday, October 19, from 11 am to noon that will focus on the importance of collaborations to reduce and prevent violence while increasing safety. This webinar will highlight a successful collaborative statewide effort reducing gang violence and implementing prevention strategies.
Panelists will discuss topics related to gang prevention, restorative justice and recidivism. Serving on the panel will be:
