$64,604.80 to $95,180.80 Annually

Description:

Collects, analyzes and reports data related to Countywide policy planning and system implementation; Helps coordinate fiscal and employee relations activities to assure adequate staffing and resources for County operations; Coordinates activities with related Departments to promote organizational effectiveness such as performance measure development and monitoring activities, organizational effectiveness/change initiatives and related projects; Organizes and conduct presentations, workshops and training sessions regarding strategic planning, team development and related subjects; prepares and delivers oral presentations Collaborates with departments and agencies to assure cross-functional projects including class studies, redistricting preparation of fee schedule, and capital projects align with goals and objectives. Participates in the diagnosis of organizational challenges and development of solutions to increase effectiveness, efficiency and productivity; Maintains current knowledge of laws, codes, rules, regulations and pending legislature related to assigned County functions; Recommends the modification of programs and procedures to assure compliance with local, State and federal requirements as appropriate.

Qualifications:

A strong understanding of local government programs and passion to provide high quality public service; Strategic thinker who can determine long-term goals as well as identify and design the best approach for achievement; Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and in a variety of contexts; Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously; Politically astute, possessing the skills necessary for identifying, navigating and successfully interacting within the dynamics of the organization while maintaining sensitivity to the competing needs of a wide variety of stakeholders. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field. (Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.) Plus one year of experience at the level of Administrative Analyst I or an equivalent position.
