Administrative Analyst I/II – Grant Analyst Extra Hire

Under general supervision and direction of the County Administrative Officer or designee, to plan, organize, manage, and perform a wide variety of administrative support functions; to assist in the development and management of the Countywide budget; to coordinate and oversee special grants and reporting requirements; analyzes programmatic practices and procedures and makes recommendations for organizational, operational, policy, staffing and procedural improvements; to provide supervision and training for assigned staff; to perform a variety of difficult, complex, and specialized information gathering; public relations assignments; and to do related work as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Additional relevant experience, which would provide the knowledge and skills listed above, may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis Administrative Analyst I Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, Accounting, or a related field, and one (1) year of paraprofessional experience in administrative, management, operation, budgetary or similar analysis required. Administrative Analyst II (in addition to the above) Two (2) years of paraprofessional experience in administrative, management, operation, budgetary or similar analysis required.
