Description:

The Nevada County Probation Department reviews research and conducts program evaluations to provide effective programming for clients in the local criminal justice system. The department works closely with the Nevada County Superior Court, treatment providers, law enforcement and justice partners inside and outside of the County. The Administrative Analyst position is involved in data analytics, data visualization, reviewing research literature, operationalizing the principles of effective interventions, adherence to program fidelity, outcome evaluations, project management, case management system oversite, and providing input regarding best practices and data collection.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include (I) a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years. (II): in addition to the above, two years of experience at a level equivalent to Nevada County’s classification of Administrative Analyst I.
