$49,670.40 – $63,814.40 Annually

Description:

An eligibility list is being established to fill current and future extra help vacancies for this position. This is a seasonal position. Generally, seasons run from February/March through September/October. We have immediate need for the current 2020 season. Opportunity to return for subsequent seasons may be available and is dependent upon program needs.

The Agricultural & Standards Service Worker I/II – Extra Help will assist the staff by performing a variety of assigned support tasks related to inspections, violations and report writing.

This position requires punctuality and strong continuous attendance. Schedule flexibility during the season is minimal.

Qualifications:

Agricultural and Standards Service Worker I

Experience:
No related experience is required.

Education:
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.

Agricultural and Standards Service Worker II

Experience:
No related experience is required.

Education:
Equivalent to completion of two years of college with major coursework in agriculture or biological science, or related field. (Additional qualifying experience performing work in pest detection, pest management, pest control operations, or other agricultural related work can be substituted for the education on a year for year basis.)
