Description:

The Modoc County Auditor’s Department is accepting applications for the position of the Assistant Auditor/Clerk. Under direction of the Auditor/Clerk, assists in managing, planning, organizing and directing the staff of the County Auditor/Clerk/Elections and Payroll office.

Qualifications:

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be five years of increasingly responsible professional financial experience. A minimum of two years of experience in governmental accounting, auditing and financial reporting is preferred. Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field. CalPEAC certification is desirable.
