Salary:

$94,369.45 – $132,117.22 Annually, plus benefits

Description:

The Clerk of the Board Office carries out the duties prescribed by law and directed by the Board of Supervisors and County Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will possess significant progressively responsible professional level, public sector administrative experience; a Bachelor’s degree in public administration; significant supervisory experience supervising and/or experience processing and filing legal documents and official records; In addition to the following competencies: Strategic Partnership and Leadership; Professional Impact; Relationship Building; and Oral Communication. While experience working with elected officials and overseeing public meeting is a benefit, it is not required.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education, training, &experience which demonstrates possession of knowledge &abilities required.
An example of the required knowledge, skills and abilities can be obtained by four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative and clerical experience which includes at least two (2) years of supervisory experience overseeing the activities of clerical staff preparing, processing and filing legal documents and official records.
HIGHLY DESIRED: A Master’s degree in a related field;
Must possess at the time of appointment, and maintain thereafter, a valid California driver license.
Excellent written communication skills must be demonstrated in the completion of the application &supplemental questionnaire.
