Description:

THE JOB: Under general supervision, to perform professional field and office engineering work which includes design and construction of roads, bridges, sanitation, sewage, drainage, water and other public works facilities; to review less complex engineering plans and specifications and land development projects prepared by professional consultants; and to do other work as required.

Qualifications:

THE REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

One year of experience performing the duties comparable to a Junior Civil Engineer in Santa Cruz County OR graduation from college with a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited curriculum in civil engineering.
