Description:

Under the administrative direction of the Director, Behavioral Health Services, this executive management position will help lead and direct the planning and operations of the Department of Behavioral Health Services by providing oversight and assisting with the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for Behavioral Health Services. The incumbent will work within a large matrix organization that encompasses regions, departments and divisions, as well as public safety entities and the courts, to standardize and implement information, services, and will review, analyze, and recommend modifications to Behavioral Health Services programs and activities based on community needs.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or a certified foreign studies equivalency AND five years of management level experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the classification. Experience must include four years of management level experience and at least one year of supervision. A master’s degree or higher degree may substitute for a total of one year of experience and cannot be applied to the required one year of supervision.
