Description:

The successful Assistant Director of Human Resources candidate will be experienced in balancing competing demands, prioritizing work, labor relations and negotiations, recruitment, and workers compensation combined with working in a union environment.

Qualifications:

at least 5 years experience as an Assistant Director or Manager of Human Resources; certification by CalPELRA; a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with major course work in public administration, business administration, personnel management, or a closely related field; at least 2 years experience as a supervisor; and/or progressively responsible and comprehensive experience in the administration of labor relations, recruitment and workers compensation programs.
