$98,517.55 – $137,924.57 Annually, plus Benefits
The Position Under the general direction of a Deputy Director Human Services Agency, the Assistant Public Administrator-Guardian Conservator manages, plans, coordinates, and supervises the activities of the Public Administrator/Public Guardian/ Conservator’s (PAPG) Office with accountability to the Public Administrator-Guardian-Conservator who is also the Human Services Agency Director. This single position classification has full responsibility for management, planning, strategic development, and implementation of the functions of the Office. This is an “AT-WILL” position on exempt from the “Civil Service Process.”
Extensive administrative, supervision or management, or lead operational experience which has led to the acquisition of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. -Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Public/Business Administration/Management, Public Health, Social Work, or Law AND -A minimum of four years management, supervision, or professional level administrative experience within a multi-disciplinary public administrative or human service delivery system. Substitution: Related experience as noted above may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis. Special Requirements: Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid California driver license. Employees in this class may be required to use their own vehicle. The ability to work weekends and evenings as needed. Ability to obtain and maintain certification requirements established by the California State Association of the Public Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators within 18 months of employment.
