APPOINTMENT TO THIS ELECTED POSITION WILL BE TO COMPLETE THREE YEARS OF A FOUR YEAR TERM.

As a department head appointed to the elected office, you will assume responsibility for fiscal management / auditing policies and programs of the County, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards

The annual budget is $187 million and is governed by a five member Board of Supervisors, whose members are elected to serve four-year terms. The Board serves as the legislative body and provides policy direction for all branches of County Government.
