Salary:

$34,403.20 – $56,035.20 Annually

Description:

This class works under general supervision and performs a variety of progressively skilled and responsible work in the operation and maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds. Work is performed at a journey level and incumbents in this class are expected to possess considerable knowledge specific to job assignment within the scope of the class.

Qualifications:

Education
High school diploma or GED; knowledge of materials, tools, and safety practices, and ability to learn related job functions in order to perform a variety of related tasks.

Experience
Building Maintenance Mechanic I: In addition to education requirements, 1-2 years of progressively responsible related experience

Building Maintenance Mechanic II: In addition to education requirements, 2-4 years of progressively responsible related experience.

Building Maintenance Mechanic III: In additional to education requirements, 4-6 years of progressively responsible related experience.
