Description:

The Cannabis Manager is responsible for administering the commercial cannabis licensing and regulatory program established by the City of Sacramento. In addition to the coordination of enforcement efforts relative to the regulation and operations of licensed commercial cannabis businesses in the City, this position is also responsible for the coordination of efforts to address illegal cannabis operations.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of:
Local, state and federal laws regulating cannabis policy and enforcement.
Legislative and regulatory process at all levels of government.
Management/organizational principles and practices.
Legistar and/or other agenda tracking software.
Land use and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Principles of public administration, public policy and public information.
