Salary:

The salary range is $184,704 – $203,652 annually, DOQ.

Description:

The Chief Assistant Director/Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is an at will position that oversees the functions of Human Resources, Compliance, Facilities, Media/Communications, Technical Services, and Strategic Planning. The COO will report to the Director of HHS while providing strategic, innovative, and collaborative leadership in helping guide the agency, and may act as the Director in their absence. A key aspect of this role is focused on the human resources operation within the Department.

Qualifications:

This position requires at least five years of management experience in the administrative or service operations of a public health, behavioral health or social services organization. A Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field is required, and a Master’s degree is desirable.
