Description:

Clark County, Nevada is recruiting an experienced, creative Chief Information Officer (CIO) who is dedicated to public service. The CIO will provide strategic planning and innovative approaches to the County’s information technology policies, programming, and infrastructure.

The Information Technology Department (IT) provides core technology services that support the business needs of County departments. The CIO manages all activities throughout the County related to a comprehensive system of information technology, including cyber security, communications and hardware, and software systems development, and subscriptions.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or public administration, or a related field and have seven (7) years of senior-level management experience in information systems development and operations, with at least five (5) years of experience working with executive and board-level personnel. The salary range for this position is $118,393.60 – $183,539.20, depending on experience and qualifications.
