Directs the following divisions under Public Health Programs: Program Evaluation, Data Coordination and Statistics, Data Processing Coordination and Public Health Records. The one position allocable to this class is distinguished by its responsibility for planning, organizing and implementing data management and reporting systems for public health statistics and vital records including birth and death certificates and morbidity reports; and for conducting in-depth evaluation of existing public health programs, services and organization to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in public health operations. The position reports to the Administrative Deputy, Programs, Health Services.
Four years’ responsible* administrative or staff experience analyzing and resolving problems of organization, program, budget or systems and procedures, one year of which must have been at the level of Program Analyst or higher in Los Angeles County, also one year of the above experience must have included responsibility for the determination of research design, evaluating and carrying out research projects in the behavioral science field.
