Description:

County Counsel of San Joaquin County is seeking an experienced legal counsel in the practice of civil law, with emphasis in juvenile dependency involving child protective services issues. This position is housed in the Human Services Agency and is primarily responsible for providing legal services to the department in matters of dependency law including adoption, child welfare, child custody and placement and related civil issues where the chief goal is the protection of children.

Qualifications:

Membership in the California State Bar.

Experience: One year in practicing civil law, with emphasis on child protective issues.
