Description:

San Joaquin County has added eight (8) new Child Support Officer III positions and is seeking interest from dynamic individuals to perform the most complex and/or sensitive child support enforcement work in the Child Support Department. Positions in this advanced journey-level class are distinguished from other classes by the delicate nature of the information obtained, by the high degree of rapport which must be established to obtain information, and by the involvement in the legal process as it relates to the support of minor children.

Qualifications:

This position has two qualifying patterns:
1. Two years of full-time experience as a Child Support Officer II, or comparable classification, in San Joaquin County.

-OR-

2. Three years of full-time journey level experience as a Child Support Officer, or comparable classification, in a California Child Support Department.
