The Sierra Nevada Regional Department of Child Support Services (SNRDCSS) is pleased to announce a recruitment for the position of Social Services Supervisor! SNRDCSS is looking for a candidate who is a strong and empowering leader to oversee a team of dedicated professionals with an enthusiasm for positively influencing the lives of children and families. Duties include planning, assigning, supervising, and reviewing the work of a unit of employees determining eligibility of applicants and recipients for public assistance programs; and holding individual and group conferences to discuss or interpret rules, regulations and policies.
 

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include graduation from High School or possession of a GED certificate plus a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Communication, Business, Psychology, Social Work or a related field; along with two years of experience comparable to a Human Services Specialist III or IV or Social Worker III or IV.
